Brendan Kelly is a Director of Software Engineering with more than 20 years across engineering and engineering leadership. Applied AI is where he learns in public. Every episode tests a claim against published code and results, and ends with a decision rule worth keeping. When a claim fails, the episode says so.
How the course is made
- Tested, not asserted. Each claim is checked against code and results published in applied-ai-lab.
- One rule per lesson. Every lesson ends with a decision rule you can use the next day.
- Honest about failure. When a claim does not hold up, the lesson says so.
- For engineers and leaders. Technical seasons explain how it works; leadership seasons decide what to do with it.
